However, the deployment and optimization of Splunk presents complex storage sizing challenges

Universal Storage Innovation to Break Decades of Tradeoffs

When it’s possible to store all of your data in a single tier of storage that’s fast enough for all of your demanding applications, large enough to manage all of your data, and affordable enough such that the economic arguments for HDDs no longer apply, everything is simple. When exabytes of data are available in real time, new insights become possible.

All-Flash File & Object Storage for the AI Era

When it’s possible to consolidate NAS and Object workloads to a single data platform with all-flash performance, cloud scalability, and archive-level economics the barriers to insight disappear. Data at massive scale requires a new approach to managing data. The old ways of locking data to the protocol by which it was ingested and using tools designed for TBs of data can’t keep up. VAST stores data as elements for multiprotocol access with equal performance and granular security policies.

The VAST Data Platform – Short Overview

The VAST Data Platform is a breakthrough approach to data-intensive computing that serves as the comprehensive software infrastructure required to capture, catalog, refine, enrich, and preserve data through real-time deep data analysis and deep learning.

Analyst Report - Storage Switzerland – Overcoming the Real Roadblock to the All-Flash Data Center

All-Flash storage is taking over many production storage responsibilities but because of cost most organizations can’t justify placing all production workloads on all-flash let alone secondary storage and data protection workloads. If the cost variable of all-flash systems can be resolved without sacrificing performance, then most data centers would happily convert to all-flash. VAST Data solves the all-flash economic equation through a combination of hardware technologies and entirely new software algorithms to make the concept of a single all-flash platform a reality.

An End to Decades of Data Management Complexity

When it’s possible to consolidate NAS and Object workloads to a single data platform with all-flash performance, cloud scalability, and archive-level economics the barriers to insight disappear. Today VAST is the foundation for innovation across every industry, with over 8 exabytes of data under management and an unprecedented growth trajectory
